This page contains important information about GoodFellas Immigration's role in international employment and work abroad services. Please read this carefully before registering or using our Work Abroad programme.
1. GoodFellas' Role in Work Abroad
GoodFellas Immigration operates as a digital international mobility platform that connects candidates, employers, and appropriate recruitment, immigration, and employment partners. Our role includes candidate sourcing coordination, profile preparation, initial screening, and interview coordination through appropriate partners.
GoodFellas is NOT an employer, recruitment agency, work-permit authority, or immigration authority. We do not directly hire, employ, or deploy candidates. Employment decisions are made by the relevant employer, and work-permit and visa decisions are made by the relevant government authority.
2. What GoodFellas Does
GoodFellas may participate in the following aspects of the international employment process:
- Candidate registration and profile creation
- CV collection and profile preparation
- Initial screening and eligibility review
- Candidate-employer matching facilitation through appropriate partners
- Interview coordination and communication support
- Documentation preparation guidance
- Partner and employer introductions
- Administrative coordination throughout the process
The extent of GoodFellas' involvement may vary depending on the specific opportunity, partner arrangement, and jurisdiction.
3. What We Cannot Guarantee
GoodFellas does NOT and CANNOT guarantee:
- Employment — no registration constitutes a job offer or guarantee of employment
- Job selection or placement — selection decisions are made by the employer or recruitment partner
- Salary or compensation — employment terms are determined by the employer
- Work permit approval — work permits are issued by the relevant government authority
- Employment visa — visa decisions are made by the relevant embassy or immigration authority
- Immigration clearance — entry and immigration decisions are made by border authorities
- Deployment or relocation — deployment depends on multiple factors including employer, permit, and visa approvals
- Job continuation — ongoing employment is subject to the employer's terms and applicable law
- Processing times — timelines depend on government authorities, employers, and partners
4. GoodFellas Is Not the Employer
For the avoidance of doubt:
- GoodFellas does not employ candidates directly through the Work Abroad programme
- GoodFellas does not pay salaries, wages, or employment benefits
- GoodFellas does not provide employment contracts
- GoodFellas does not determine employment terms, conditions, or duration
- The employment relationship is between the candidate and the employer
- GoodFellas facilitates connections and coordination — not employment
5. Regulated Recruitment Activities
Overseas recruitment involving Indian citizens is subject to regulation under applicable Indian law. For the avoidance of doubt:
- Regulated overseas recruitment activities must be performed by appropriately registered and authorised parties
- GoodFellas operates as a digital coordination and networking platform — not as an overseas recruitment agency
- Where recruitment activities require specific licensing or authorisation, GoodFellas works with appropriately authorised partners
- Candidates should verify that any recruitment or employment partner they engage with holds the appropriate authorisations
GoodFellas does not claim to be an authorised overseas recruitment agency. The digital coordination and networking activities of GoodFellas are distinct from regulated recruitment activities, which must be carried out by appropriately authorised parties where required by applicable law.
6. Candidate Registration
When you register on the GoodFellas Work Abroad programme:
- Your profile is created in the GoodFellas system
- Your information may be reviewed and assessed for suitability
- Where a relevant opportunity exists, your profile may be shared with appropriate partners or employers
- Partners or employers may contact you directly or through GoodFellas for further discussion
- The decision to proceed with your candidacy rests with the employer and recruitment partner
Registration does not constitute a job offer, shortlisting, or guarantee of any employment outcome. Employment opportunities are subject to employer requirements, partner availability, candidate eligibility, and applicable government processes.
7. Partner & Employer Role
In the Work Abroad process, the following parties have distinct roles:
GoodFellas
Sources, screens, profiles, coordinates documents, and facilitates interview scheduling through appropriate partners.
Recruitment / Immigration Partner
Manages recruitment processes, work-permit applications, visa processing, and deployment coordination where authorised.
Employer
Makes the final employment decision, sets salary and terms, provides the job offer, and enters into the employment contract.
Government Authority
Issues work permits, employment visas, and immigration clearance based on applicable law and policy.
8. Your Responsibility
As a candidate, you are responsible for:
- Providing accurate, truthful, and complete information
- Ensuring all documents are genuine and valid
- Meeting the eligibility requirements for the specific opportunity
- Maintaining valid travel documents and identity papers
- Complying with all applicable laws and regulations
- Verifying the legitimacy of any employer, partner, or opportunity
9. Fraud & Misrepresentation
Providing false or misleading information, forged documents, or fraudulent credentials will result in:
- Immediate removal from the Work Abroad programme
- Forfeiture of any fees paid
- Notification to relevant authorities where required by law
- Potential legal action under applicable criminal and employment laws
